Iced Turmeric Latte July 15 2016

Sun’s out, yum’s out.  We’re slaying all those other loaded iced beverages with a healthier summer drink that will crush your thirst and make you roar. This iced turmeric latte is the ultimate in functional sipping, busting with fierce flavours, antioxidants and powerful health benefits without the  sugar, caffeine and calories. And it’s no sweat to make. Just brew yourself some Tiger Tea and chill till cold. Pour over ice and add your favourite milk or cream. Intense. Delicious. You’ll be lifting these all summer long.  

2 teaspoons Tiger Tea

1 cup boiling water

1/4 cup milk (soy, almond, or any type you like) or cream.

1 teaspoon honey (optional)

1 whole star anise

1 whole cinnamon stick

Brew Tiger Tea with infuser in cup. (Add honey if using.) Place in fridge to cool. When cooled, pour over ice in glass and pour in your milk milk. Garnish with a whole star anise and cinnamon stick.

Make a batch: Brew a whole pot of Tiger Tea for a weeks worth of Iced Turmeric Lattes, and pour a new glass everyday. Use 3 t’s of Tiger Tea to 5 cups boiling water.
